Located in the heart of the Maremma region in Tuscany, the stone cottage La Casetta has been renovated into two independent units, il Cipresso and l’Olivo. Both units have been restored with extreme care ensuring that all typical rural aspects of the region and architecture were preserved. The estate runs along the Ombrone River and guests may move freely among  its 60 acres property full of grain fields, olive trees and vineyards. Sheep herds often graze around the property and if requested, typical produces of the farm like, honey, cheese and olive oil can be purchased. The surrounding area offers many cultural and exiting attractions such as; the ancient ruins of the Etruscan town of Roselle (15km), the see side and beaches of Marina di Alberese (25km), the medieval town of Castiglione and its marvelous beaches (35km) and the famous spa retreats of Saturnia (60 km). Nearby it is also possible to practice sporting activities such as horse riding, canoeing, golf and pottery making in ceramics and terracotta.
